In August, the INTERCAMBIO team held a mini symposium at the EPICOH 2026 conference in Stockholm, Sweden. The symposium featured mid-term results from the intervention studies, focusing on mental and physical health outcomes.
It also highlighted the substantial fieldwork conducted across a range of industries relevant to climate change and the green transition, and covered the co-creation activities carried out since the beginning of the project.
Dr Michelle Turner, Coordinator of the INTERCAMBIO Project, opened the symposium with an introduction to the context and aims of the study. Presentations followed by five of the project’s international research team, each outlining the study methodology and first findings from evaluation of the interventions (or natural experiments) performed in five different industries of relevance to climate change and the green transition. They highlighted common themes such as co-creation and participatory research methods.
The session closed with group discussion between the researchers and session participants. The mini symposium was well attended, reaching a wide audience and generating engaging and thoughtful discussions.
We look forward to sharing more results with you at the upcoming conferences in 2027!
